CARLOS ZALA, MD
Carlos is specialist in Infectious Diseases. He brings to B&A many years of experience in Clinical Research.
After completing his post doctoral fellowship in HIV/AIDS at the Center for Excellence in HIV/AIDS in Vancouver,
he relocated his practice in Buenos Aires.
Since then, Carlos has been Principal Investigator in numerous studies
ranging from Phase I to Phase IV.
Over the last 10 years he provided services as Medical Director to an international
CRO and was involved in development of clinical research protocols and scientific guidance to clients. In addition, he
has been consulted for several pharmaceutical and biotech companies as medical expert, speaker at product oriented meetings
and seminars and trainer of sales representatives.
His past experience has included active work in Central and South American Countries such as Peru, Salvador, Panama,
Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guatemala. Carlos is Chief Scientific Officer and Medical Advisor of B&A.
